The trail to Big Beach is accessed from a parking lot off Highway 4, 2 km North of Ucluelet. The cove is somewhat sheltered from the ocean waves, but offers good views and plentiful beach combing opportunites.

This beach is is very close to downtown Ucluelet and makes a great quick stop on the way to or from the Long Beach unit.
