Cameron Lake is a very popular recreational lake located 20 km west of Parksville. Cameron Lake lies on the north side of Highway 4 to Port Alberni, and is accessed directly off the highway.

Cameron Lake is bordered by steep mountains: Mt. Wesley to the north and Mt. Arrowsmith to the south.
