Facilities include a snack stand, tea house, childrens' play equipment and a big grass field for the young at heart to throw a frizbee.

Just beside Willows Beach are the rocky bluffs of Cattle Point where you can spot waterfowl and boats heading out fishing. For those who would like an extended walk, you can go up the stairs at the east end of Esplanade, walk around the point and stroll across Beach Avenue into the Garry Oak meadows of Uplands Park. This park offers an easy half hour walk and is particularly enjoyable after the trails have dried up in the spring.
